So, just started my mapping project. Map is going to be for our (me & buddy) fantasy world.
After a lot of pain and suffer and a lot of tutorials I managed to get some shape there. Photoshop, gimp and paint.. phuh.
Bam, just kept mapping and mapping and mapping. And this is what came out:

Gotta say a huge thanks to people like pasis, Tear, Arsheesh... and many others.. for their great-great great tutorials! ;)
Now I need to figure out a good, smooth.. typewrite-look-alike... font and some nice and clean symbols.
Nice use of Tear's tut, looks really good! My only critique is that the river on the eastern continent looks a little too smooth.
For the font I'm no help, but check the Resources forum for symbols. I believe Ascension has some great clean symbols posted as a set of brushes.
