Shattered Sea (WIP)

Hello everyone,

I've been loving the work on this site for long enough, so I thought I'd finally post something. This is the draft image for an upcoming rpg I'm running called the Shattered Sea Campaign. It was done on photoshop. There's basically just the outlines of the coast and islands (colored for easier viewing) and the huge maelstrom that is the centerpoint of the campaign.

I'd love any thoughts or suggestions for the next step - which I suppose is working up the texture for the land and sea.

Me no want to live near that thing! :D Nice layout so far; looking forward to the rest.

As for suggestions... well, the maelstrom thingy you've got looks more artistic than photo-realistic, so I personally would opt for icons over a satellite-treatment.

Doesn't have to be right away, but a scale bar would be nice, so we know roughly how big that maelstrom and those islands are.

Would suck to own beach-front property near that thing!
