    Wip My Homebrew Setting Map WIP

    Hi Everyone! This is my first post here and also my first serious try at mapping with GIMP.
    As you can probably see, i used darklingrisen´s tutorial for fast and easy artistic maps.
    There are no features or labels as of yet, but I´m planning to add those later.


    What do you think about it? Any major flaws? Any advice?

    Update:

    I decided to try a more realistic approach based on the map i posted above.
    Took me almost 6 hours. Well, there goes another sunday afternoon...
    I think the mountains came out pretty well. Better than I could have hoped for my first try.
    The trees will be added later. I´m playing around with forest techniques at the moment, but I´m struggling
    to make them look... natural.
    I´m not really happy with the rivers though. Could anybody give me some advice on that matter?
