    Wip [WIP] Unnamned topographic try

    I began with this topographic... type... map using a rather complicated process involving clouds and spamming the emboss filter

    so then i used a palette map and the topography palette to color it

    and then i used the contours and stuff to make a river and stuff

    and

    well thats all i have so far

    yeah im going to add a couple cities and stuff to this as well

    im kinda proud of it

    So i thought to myself "wow i really hate the way these rivers look"

    and remade them

    and i think i might remake them again though some things seem offal

    What an interesting way to create a map... I think I'm going to follow this, because I like the way it's going.

    well, i fixed the rivers and made them smooth and stuff

    Wild contours. Cool, different topo look. Some very odd hill-tops -- makes you wonder what's up there. My feeling is this is a coastal area map, where the wide body of water is an inlet, or narrow bay, perhaps a glacial carved bay. The many tributaries, rivers and streams flowing down the surrounding hillsides, from snowmelt, ice melt, or rain.
