    Hi

    I've spent a lot of time thinking which softwares could help me drawing a map that reminds me AD&D second edition cartography, remember?
    The solution was to use programs that I use for my work.

    Fractal Terrains: to deisgn world map
    Photoshop: giving right colors and modify spcific areas
    Illustrator: drawing cities, trees&forests, rivers, roads and fonts
    Flash: give interaction to the map giving popup description to diferent areas.

    note: map is a Flash, if you right click on it you can Zoom In multiple times and view details.
    I suggest to mouse over on Atlaia, Caradull... and popup wil appear. Sorry, I know is only in Italian.
    If you click and drag LEGENDA you can use KM distance like a ruler.

    Very creative! It shows a great deal of creativity and ingenuity and a great use of resources. I like the little pics in the popups.
