just got an invalid attachment error. not sure if its just me though. the older version is very cool though. what exactly were the problems?

holy molly, i had to drop quality down really low to get map to load, here check this.
Those lines that radiate out from the coast that you've done with a selection that you've expanded. In Photoshop, there is a function called smooth selection which will make them more rounded and less squarish the further out they go. If you're using GIMP, I imagine there is something similar.
One way you could do it in gimp is to use the Select -> Distort menu option.
im using photoshop cs5, im gonna erase those outer lines eventually i think. not sure yet how im doing the ocean areas
im looking for suggestions on how or what texture to use on the ocean and what to do for deserts? what i have for desert now isnt my texture just something i threw in there for visual while i thought about it\
