Wow, Vin--this map is great, just great! I think you have found your style, for it all holds together well & the color scheme is great.
The text may be a little too sharp-edged for the soft nature of the rest of the map, but that's easily fixed. I also don't like the dunes--they are more like opaque mountains. Otherwise, wow, what a great, great job.
How did you achieve your coasts? I like them!

I like the mountains, as well as the overall aesthetic of the map. Great flair for a dabbler!
Excellent map....I love the colour scheme...kind of dark and brooding.
