Hello,
Here's my current map.
I wanted to use the style pack Pete Fenlon (see an example here: http://sub.profantasy.com/2008/image.../gallery01.jpg), but I changed the symbols, because I don't like them.
About the relief, I can't choose between the edges marked (top right of the mountains) and edges that are not marked (below).
What is your preference?

I like the mountains in the 2nd version better, not a big fan of the city icons though...

Well, I think I'll stop there.
My goal was not to invent a place, but to find a style readable and summary (one type of forest, mountain or desert) for local maps.
