And now the hard part xD. Mountains! A nightmare, considering the techniques I'm experimenting. Anyway, I'd like to receive an advice before starting the serious work. In the screen that follows there are three kind of mountains. Which one do you prefer?
Select the number of choice and feel free to add any comments or critics that could help improving the final result. Thank you :).
For this map, I think 1 will work best. 2 is nice but might detract from the other stuff and 3 certainly will.
I like the look of 2 the best (mind if I use that technique myself?), but yeah, 1 would probably look the best on this particular map.
Personally I would prefer 2, but you're right about the fact that it could detract from other stuff (thanks for your precious hints :D). Could the reason be the brush thickness? The problem is I'm already using a 2 pixels brush. But I'm quite sure that playing a little with settings I could reach a reasonable result. If not, I will go with 1.

These settings should be changed a little if you change the brush diameter.
Anyway, here an example of "Isla de los Pinos" with mountains using both techniques (80% opacity).
Thanks for the settings! I was just going to ask you that... :D I'd give you some more rep, but it won't let me yet.
