    Thanks again for the comments all! It really does inspire. I've been searching through the tutorials and forums here and am so inspired by everyone's work here that I plan on making a planetary map my next project once my to do list gets cleared up. In the meantime, here are a few more sheets (if anyone thinks these are inappropriate for this forum, just let me know and I will remove);

    Thanks again for the comments! As far as the spaceships, I build a rough model with google Sketchup to make sure that it would 'work' in reality, and more inportantly to make sure I've got the perspective right, then I paint over it using Corel Paintshop Pro XI.

    How does the FTL work in your setting?

    Not to disregard the awesome pictures and stuff mind you. Those sorts of details really help somebody envision your world setting. Thanks in advance.

    Incredible.Great design and great stories to go with them

    Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
