Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.

How much effort are these? And do you do requests? ;-)
I certainly do fill requests - I've made the art for a Traveller RPG supplement made by 'someguy' here at CG. As for the effort, it depends on the level of detail. The top image was just me playing with brushes and filters and didn't take long; the bottom took me forever to get the colors and nebula effects just the way I wanted.
If you'd like me to make a picture for you, just let me know.
