I was stoked when I saw that. And the technology to do that is not far off. The have flexible screens and google maps is getting there. The general area could be stored in a microchip in the map, though as I was watching it it seemed more likely in the future you won't have region maps, just one big scroll that can display any map you can get from a satelite.
Also in that movie is a great church like building carved into the mountainside. I think it would be cool to see the inside of that place. Unless it was totally fabricated.
