    Post Symbols using Microsoft Word

Here are little symbols I make in my lunch hour using the drawing tools in microsoft word. You can't save the image on its own in word, the trick is to copy and paste it into powerpoint. If you right click on the image you can then save it as wmf, png etc.

I'll make more symbols in future lunch hours. It's a good short study with something to show for it at the end of the process.

I created a symbol set for CC3 overland modern maps based on the carta-normal TrueType font available here:

    http://www.fontica.com/font/carta_normal

    These are varicolor symbols.

Enjoy, and let me know if they are useful.

I have created a varicolor symbol set for CC3 overland maps based on the TrueType dingbat symbols font that comes with the AutoREALM program:

Some very nice CC2/Cosmographer Star Trek symbols are available on this page:

    http://anomaly.mushpark.com/transfer.html

Look under "Trek Symbols". There are also a couple of CC2 Star Trek ship and starbase deck plans on that page too.

I recently rediscovered these amazing symbols on my hard drive and decided to hunt down the original link to share here for any Star Trek gamers. I was a big fan of the Last Unicorn Games Star Trek RPG in the 1990s.

Awesome Sigurd, I have been following dead links from various sites trying to find this pdf with these very symbols for ages, the USGS does not seem to think updating/forwarding dead pages is worth the effort I guess.
    Thanks ALOT, SeerBlue
