    Wip Ferneron

    Time to do some private work between commissions.
    This is partially inspired by Pete Fenlon's maps - I discovered these while doing a commission, where this style was being discussed as a possible style for the final product.
    A first look with outlines and a first try with shading and light.

    That observatory on the right side of the range has a line from the hill going through it.

    Looks nice overall, though I'm not a big fan of the light/shading on mountains that make look them striped.

    Love the perspective with the mountains on this.

    I agree with Max, however, insomuch as the straight lines combined with the shading/highlighting does make it look like stripes.
