Post Drawing straight coastlines in CC3

Couple things, first off I tried to take a look at the overland tutorial and the website was blocked, don't know if that was me or if the tut was taken down, if it was can we get a new overland tut put up to replace it?

Secondly, I was dabbling in CC3 this weekend a bit and have found the randomized coastline to be rather annoying when I'm trying to replicate existing maps I've already done. Is there a way you can turn that off and just draw a straight point to point line for coastlines?

Yes. If you want to draw a straight (not sure if you mean as in straight line) coastline, all you need to do is the following:

If for an island use the SMOOTH POLY tool.

If it is for a coastline that goes 'off' the map then use the SMOOTH PATH tool, and then attach some straight lines to the coastline where it meets the map border, tracing around the outside where the border would be. Using the MULTIPOLY tool makes that into a solid poly you can then use the CHANGE PROPERTIES tool to change the color/fill style etc of the land.

I could write you a quick one, if I knew exactly what it was you were trying to do/emulate.

I have about a dozen projects in various states of in the works right now.

The one I am specifically working on in this case is a map of a smaller continent in the North Western part of my world. I already have a ton hand drawn maps (which one of these days I need to scan) of the area and now I am transferring it to CC so I can do a political map for a bronze age time period for it.
