    Map The City of Montakost

I had the idea of a 'Time Machine'-like fantasy scenario in its early stages.
The Arborelves live in their giant home trees and rule over friend and foe with their shey'ling dreamdust drug, a heavily addictive drug made from the seeds of large fungitrees called shey. The heavy work is done by dwarven slaves, bred by the Arborelves like cow - creatures who live and work in the darkness.

Sometime in the future the Arborelves fall down from their powerful position and by night the dwarves leave their caverns and to collect food - degenerated and decadent Arborelves!

    Made in PS.

Cool map. Repped if I can.

In the back of my mind somewhere is a factoid about root systems of trees being as large as the foliage systems. Not sure if that's real or not but it makes me want to think your root system should be larger and deeper. Having deeper roots might be a cool way of visually connecting your underground caverns to the tree in any case.

    Again, nice stuff!

You are right, mearrin. I kept the roots somewhat smaller as they should be.
