    Post Hello

    All,

I have a feeling I'll be looking more then posting, but thought I'd say hi.

As Secretary for the New York Map Society and a true fan of all things map related, I was thrilled to stumble across your site.

    http://www.nymapsociety.org/

We are one of the few map societies that cover all things cartography related. Most map societies fall into
the History of Cartography catagory, or current innovations in GIS, new map technology and the like.
We cover both of those and, probably due to my growing up in the age of Dungeons and Dragons, fantasy maps.

I'm thrilled that the Cartographer's Guild is continuing the long standing tradition of maps of the imagination.

    Kudos.

    Heather Kinsinger,
    Secretary, New York Map Society
