Help Looking for Capital City brushes

    Hi,

I'm trying to make a map for a fantasy novel that I'm writing, but I want the map to have a classic world map feel rather then a the typical fantasy feel.
On one of my world globes all of the cities are marked with stars with dots inside (for capitals), a circle with a dot inside, or just a circle (if it's a smaller city) and I'd really like to use this on my map... Only problem is that I've searched the internet high and low for the photoshop brushes and can't find them anywhere!

Just wondering if anyone on here is aware of somewhere that I can get brushes like that for free?
Here's a picture of my globe to show what I mean

I imagine it is partly because they are quite simple to make and then define as a brush or custom shape later.

If you're on Windows, use Character Map to look at the various Wingdings fonts. Lots of useful monochrome generic symbols in there.
