    Map Fenwood

    Hello All,

Here is the latest map for my D&D campaign. Fenwood is a town on the northern edge of the Spectrewood. A hub for travellers between Dunderhelm, Basillon, and the distant kingdoms to the south, Fenwood is ruled by a detached eladrin wizard.

    comments and criticisms welcome,

very cool! is there a legend to explain the numbers?

Might do witha bit more texture, but even there I'm not sure; it looks pretty good

All and all it's very clean in the artwork and very consistent in the delivery. I'd be curious to see more of the land of Spectrewood in this style of map.

Nice. I like the Heraldic symbol that you have chosen. Good work.

    Thanks guys,

    I appreciate the kind feedback.

I haven't written up the legend for this map yet. I usually do it in a word document; they are usually pretty lengthy going into detail about NPCs and other details of interest to the players. I keep all my maps and legend/write-ups in a campaign binder for play.

I've been considering making up a map of the Spectrewood. The players are going to be making a journey through the lands haunted by a fallen eladrin kingdom. I'm just hesitant; I'm not certain how to approach such a map, and how to make it interesting. It is on my to-do list though.

I have a great book that is a collection of old heraldry; it has been invaluable. They give my maps that great extra touch, and the images are public domain too.

    Cheers,
