    Default Cavern Map WIP

Here's one from my home game. This is a WIP. I still want to do one more layer of detail on this before it's finished. This is currently 1/4 of final size:

Nice, you should move to Vegas, lots of New Yorkers here, that way I can join your home game.

I real like your colour palette and the way the water looks. Seems to have a very warm, soft and dreamy feel about it.

That's nice, I think if you remove the hard edges on the waterfalls, and paint in fuzzy hilites on the water there it will help the illusion.

It does look quite warm and inviting from the map. But I am sure that when the characters get there it will be cold, hard and unpleasant and then someone is gonna fall into the water.

Thinking about the warm colour comments made me think this was not very underdark-ey. So I altered the colour balance a couple of times and I'd be interested in people's opinions:

@Devin: Absolutely. The water needs some tlc - especially the waterfalls. Thanks for caliing me on it.

Yeah, these are much more forboding (and icy). I like both of these, but the second one especially.

Okay, fixed the new colours, dealt with the water and started some of the final detail on the cavern floor.

Far more gloomy and cold now. Now I don't wanna visit. (Also, the water looks good)
