Lol yeah, that's just a placeholder until I pick a font for the rest for it to match

The "guest" rooms now all have beds. If nothing else, this challenge is giving me a great excuse to make a ton of brushes that will make future mapping for my dnd game much easier!

I also put a small shadow on the walls ... I'm planning on doing more with shadows later (such as a big one in the courtyard).

    Thanks, Tilt

Rolled out the red carpet in this update, as well as putting torch sconces in the corridors, fixing the font issue, and I took another pass at the writing to try to fix the voice. I'm sure I'll keep tweaking that part, but it's less screamingly modern now, I think.

lights looking nice. The carpet is looking a bit plush? (is that a word?) ... and hotel carpets seldom have gaps and are mostly held down by brass (or some metal) "edges"

Yeah, plush is a word ... furry was the one that came to my mind. I have a flatter version at home (on my iphone atm) and i'll have to upload that one later to compare. As for the carpets, I was under the impression that medieval carpets were really jusy rugs ... hence the ruggish nature of them. I'll do some digging; i certainly may have been mistaken.
