Well, I can't really say I'm a new member, because I've been lurking here for months...but I haven't properly introduced myself.

I'm really impressed both at the sheer amount of originality that comes from this place and also the friendly and helpful people...I've downloaded tons of tutorials and I feel like since I've come here I've learned more about map-making than I ever did just trying it on my own.

I'm into more photorealistic and modern maps because I usually make them for a state-roleplaying game I'm involved in. I've been pouring over that incredible atlas map that a2area made, as well as the things that Acension made, and I'm totally jealous of your abilities.

Well, I just felt like introducing myself. I'll definitely be here a lot.
