    I was at an exibit my father-in-law made about byzans some month ago, there were a lot of maps in that style there, incl. a huge map of constantinoble - really cool.. its a nice style, very descriptive..

    Thanks, tilt! I had actually the medieval maps of Constantinople in mind, when working on this map! I remember one depicting the conquest of the city by the Western Crusaders.
