Thread: Hi there everyone

    Default Hi there everyone

As I was roaming the Internet I found this Site here and I am very impressed with the great work you guys do here.

Well, my name is Kenneth and I'm from Germany. I'm 30 years old and work as a purchaser for our companies production facilities (<- hope that's correct English)
My hobbies are RPG's (D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder), painting Miniatures and cooking, lol.

For weeks now I have been trying to come up with a nice simple way to create Dungeon Tiles and I came to the conclusion that I have to learn to make them myself. So I loaded my PC up with Gimp and am now searching the Forum for tutorials and reading everything I can get my eyes on. I have to start from scratch, my Gimp experience is like zero. But from what I saw on this site, I hope that my Map-Fu can challenge yours someday.

Welcome! Make sure to check out the tutorials section and the "how do i" section for tips and tricks. Also, a quick search of "award winner tutorial" will bring up a lot of excellent hits.
