Thread: Steampunk Map Border

  1. #1

    Default Steampunk Map Border

I was helping someone create a steampunk mapborder and came up with this - the Mapulator. Please feel free to use it! Just save the file as a .png and put your map on the bottom layer. Also attached is what it looks like with a map under it (and a few other adjustments).

Hehe. That's wonderful Ravs. Especially love that magnifying bit that you have over your example map. Great stuff.

Very nice, if a little cheesy (mapulator??!!). I'll tone it down a liitle to use in my campaign.

I think I am beginning to 'get' you now. Excellent work.

Thanks guys. Yeah Mapulator is a bit cheesy but I didn't really have any end result in mind when I started this and the word just popped into my head so I just used it as I was only making the thing as an example for someone else to look at.

Ravs, is there a way you could make it look like the magnifier is adjustable. At the moment it seems fixed by those bolts. Maybe some cogs and teeth on the arms would do it.
