    Wip WIP Falkport

This is a new map that I am working on. It is one of the few cities of any significance in the lands of the Khulzad Alliance in the "Free States". Falkport is a small city of just under 3,000 people but it is fairly important because it is the main port for the Khulzad Alliance.

This is in a fairly early stage still, but I wanted to post it for any criticisms. It is done entirely with CD3.

This post is pretty low resolution, so my next posting will be at a higher quality image.

Looks good thus far, my only criticism is that if it's an important port, I would think it would have a lot more docks and peirs

I should rephrase that... It is an important for the alliance as it was their only port for a time, but it is still a pretty quiet port when compared with the rest of the Free States.

This is a bit of an update to the map. I have most of the western part of the city map, and I started doing some outlying farms. I am also starting to add in a little background detail.

I made a lot more progress today and I am pretty happy with the overall look. What I am not happy with is the output from CC3. I am having a hard time getting a good looking JPG output from the program. I have tried to print it to a PDF doc and pull it that way (which is where this copy has come from). I have tried to save it to a JPG, which works ok, but it creates some very odd looking textures.

I will keep trying it. My next option is to get a print driver that will print directly as a JPG file.

Looks good. Give a black glow to your text to make it easier to read (or make it black with a White glow).

A little more progress, but I have a question. I saved this file directly from CC3, and the buildings that I created with the "house" command all have black spots all over the roof, but the houses that were symbols do not. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Almost done now. I can't get a good copy from saving via CC3, but I printed to a JPG at a high resolution, and I like this output. I did discover that I have some buildings on the wrong sheet though because they have too much blur. I will fix that for the final.
