*** August/September Lite Challenge - Rorschach Map Challenge ***

This month's lite challenge is to take the provided abstract map and create any map you want from it. Feel free to use this shape in any way you see fit, as long as the shape is recognisable in the final image.



The lite challenges are for everyone and we'd like to encourage participation from people starting out. This is a good opportunity to take a tutorial, follow it through and get some feedback along the way. This challenge is probably best suited to regional mapmaking - something the guild has tutorials for in abundance. Here's a selection of some of the award winning tutorials for this style:

• Making a continent in photoshop
• Ascension's Atlas Style in PS
• Using GIMP to Create an Artistic Regional RPG Map
• Hand drawn mtns. and other stylistic map elements for use in PS/GIMP
• Saderan – a tutorial
• Rising up the mountains in Photoshop

Remember to precede any image you post with ### Latest WIP ### so that the thumbnail scraper will pick it up.
