Thread: A small introduction

    Default A small introduction

    Hello everyone,

My name is Abe, I'm an IT student from the Netherlands.
Having worked on websites and such for about 7-8 years, I have quite a bit of experience with Photoshop.
However, I've never done any cartography before and I'm currently working on my own Pathfinder campaign.
I've managed to create a worldmap in Photoshop a few weeks ago and I'm currently attempting to create more localised maps and city maps.

    My map

I'm hoping to gain some inspiration and helpful tips and tricks from this place, and maybe even contribute some of them myself once I get some more experience.

Looks very pretty. Not sure what the big cracks are for but the do add something.

    Thanks

The cracks are just there to look pretty. Now that you mentioned it though, I do think it's a good idea to remove them so it doesn't confuse anyone by suggesting some sort of landmark.
