    Project Red Sparkler

Since I am a big fan of creating a single dump for the majority of my overly disconnected works, I figured I would post this. I suppose I will keep this for sporadic things.

    Firstly, I have this:

::dislikes the seeming inability to place attachments in line:: Please see attachment

So that was something I was tinkering with. Now I just need to populate it.

I am thinking the big island is about the size of the whole of Japan. So, I suppose that will give me a start point.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Default Project Blue Streak

So I started playing a game of CIV, and after I got my hind end handed to me by the Aztecs and the Egyptians, I noticed that the map had a neat layout to it. So, I took it, and tinkered with it in photoshop for a couple hours, and this is where we are at. Eventually I am going to try and finish the river and route maps, but so far I have major cities (dots and stars), rivers (heavy black lines) and some of the key routes drawn in (brown lines).

The terrain is more or less self explanatory by the color.

Thoughts? Any ideas as to place names or polities?

I know the bottom right polity with the roads and such will be Russian-esque, you know, considering I was playing a Russian civ in that area ... yeah.

Oh, and the white lines are political boundaries. Which I guess means they are advanced enough in mapping skills to be able to make definitive borders.
