Another small update. I'm not sure if I like the neighborhoods colored in like this, and I'm running out of ideas for buildings and ads, but I think I can get there in time. I feel like I need to do something with the street names. All caps? banners? I don't know.
Crayons, I did 8 digit phone numbers, do you think it needs a 555 as well?
Any suggestions for improvement are appreciated, thanks!

555 numbers? I don't really know, I presume 8 digits won't connect anywhere but... the only thing you can be certain of is stupidity!

Sort of running out of steam for these advertisements, so I went back to populating the map with buildings. If anybody has any ideas for ads or anything I'd love to hear them.

The Ads all need to have a phone number and/or Web address. No one would place and ad without contact details. Also in the real Manhattan, you can get virtually anything delivered to your apartment or hotel. So I think New Yorkers would appreciate the the joke of absolutely crazy deleveries.

Are the sightseeing buses "purlpe" on purpose? I think it's a typo, but what do I know about Dutch?
Needs more windmills, wooden shoes, ice skates, and legal recreational drug shops. Or not, but those would be my stereotypical Dutch feature suggestions.

Kind of slow going right now. I updated some of the older buildings, and added some new ones, but it still feels like it'll need a lot more. I didn't think it would be this much work! My laptop is starting to lag whenever I open the thing.
