Fractured Lands

I started on this map for my wife's pirate game, but it turned out to be too "island-y" for her. So I started on a different map that she is happy with (see here). Regardless, I want to complete this map but I feel like something is a bit off... Looking for some criticism I suppose.

[Ascension]

Take your Base layer and just erase a bunch of islands (make sure you leave a few for flavor) then ctrl-click this layer, select inverse, then hit delete on the land, hills, and mtn layers and any other layers you might have except the ocean. Now all your layers reflect the changes made to the base layer and you have a lot fewer islands.

If you want to do something harder, delete all layers and go back to near the beginning where you do some airbrushing and restart there.
