However, I have downloaded the four pdfs and Parts 1 and 4 are corrupt (or at least that is what my adobe reader 9 tells me). Parts 2 and 3 are fine.

Tested all fine here on a machine that they have never been downloaded on to.

That is Windows XP with Reader 9.3.4

Clear your cache and try again.
