    Default Drakonia

Well I got tired of plotting out houses all the time so I decided to take a short brake from my Ankh-bathor map for a while. Instead I decided to make a map of the world Drakonia. With this map I decided to try something completely new in style, so I downloaded Tears Sadera tutorial to follow. This is as far as I've got yet. Please feel free to comment.

More on the story of the world will follow.

Thanks for the comment Jtougas, Here is some more progress. I've completed the tutorial, so now I'm on my own :-)

Looks really good. Maybe a little more shading on the mountains to make them "pop" I really like the ocean texture. Keep up the good work!!

Thanks for the comments and input. I tried to enhance the mountains a bit on this version. So better or worse?

Much better IMO. You can see if the "pop-out factor" is alright when you add rivers and forests

Well forests and rivers are already in place, so I think the pop-out factor is fine :-). I have to work a bit on the forest texture though, at the moment it most looks like a darker green shadow. But the rivers I'm pleased with. What do you think? Are they too obscure or are they fine?

Some more tuning of the textures. This time the forest of the world had some tweeking. I also added som cities and "water roads".
So is the forest ok now or too strong?

I really like the way you can tweek things in this style. It's very easy to do changes afterwards. Which is great :-)
