    Help D&D Campaign

I'm a DM for a current D&D 3.5 campaign and while working on a fractal world map (as some of you may have seen my post) was looking for some ideas, tips, etc. I'm currently needing some help with my world building project, and could really use a cartographer to take up where I left off. This could be taken up by a few cartographers, as I realise the amount of time investment this requires. I have a world map created, but I need someone to add the bells and whistles, and then I need some kingdom maps created, as well as some regions, cities, villages, ruins, castles, etc. Basically, I'm looking for someone who loves map making and would like some challenges.

I can e-mail my world map, and I'm even open to starting all over with the mapping process, if you have something else in mind.

My world is very undead, magic, and ritual heavy, and even have some areas that are overrun by demons.

Please let me know if you have any questions, or would like to see what I have for a world map.

    Thanks!

Please review the 'sticky' at the top of the forum and provide any of the additional information you can... it will likely help you to find those who may be interested.

    Time Constraints

I would like to find an individual or a few who can help me with this project so that in a few weeks (2-3) that I could provide my players with a copy of a world map. I currenlty have the beginnings of such a map and you can either choose to finish my map, or start from scratch and create one.
I have other maps that I am looking to have created to go along with my campaign, and would be willing to work on a schedule for such work as your time permits.

    Style
I am looking for a semi-realistic map style for the world map, (Something on par with http://lathorien.deviantart.com/#/d3231c9)
Or something similar in style to: http://www.cartographersguild.com/sh...?12423-Oakfall
    or: http://www.cartographersguild.com/al...chmentid=30172

    Description of Map
    •[semi professional]
•[Required for print and web] We'll work out a file transfer system so that I can recieve copies of the original files/images.
•[Dimensions of map: should fill a standard 8 1/2" X 11" sheet of paper for ease of use, but I can scale the images as needed with Photoshop CS4 or Gimp.
•[Raster / Vector] No preference as long as the scale would be sufficient enough to allow for detail without pixelating.

Hope that helps? Thanks again for your time and consideration!

SOooo...I've not recieved any response to my project. Can anyone give me some ideas as to what I can do to make this project more enticing, without pay?

I realise the scope is rather large, which is why I would really like for a few individuals to contribute, unless one person thinks they really like the project and are willing to contribute all of the source materials. The overall goal would be to completely map out the world, and then some of the major realms, then some of the cities, towns, and villages, and then eventually ruins, and other areas of interest.

Because I do have some connections with the video game industry and have done some educational publishing, I want to protect the rights for my intellectual property rights, in the event that later I decide to publish or distribute my world information in a for profit enviornment. There is the possiblity, with the D20 open licensing systems that are in place; specifically the Wizards of the Coast open license for DnD, that it could become a payed endeavour. However, before any distrubtion would be done, we would negotiate a customary and appropriate fee to feature your work. (As an artist myself, I realise the importance of recieveing recognition and payment for your work)
