Map The Eastern Baronies - Hex Map

I did some hex map commissions recently and so I decided to make a hex map just for fun and playing around with different styles.
These maps are a mixture of PS and CC3 symbols.

Did you find a way to number those automatically? Otherwise that would no doubt have driven you at least a little mad. Very cool map! I love seeing things that dance along the border between 'old school' and modern which this does quite beautifully.

Thank you, RE. I use DrawHexGrid to make the field, you can configure it to quite anything you need for a hex map.

I don't really have any idea what constitutes a good map in this hex format but they look pretty good to me.

I prefer the second one by the way - I kept looking at all the bevels on the first and was working out the reasoning behind them (I guess that the bigger the tiled element the bigger the bevel) and that kind of drew me away from the actual map. So I was happy when I opened the second one and found them gone.

Thanks Ramah. Yes, increased the bevel for higher elements.

I really love this map, and i do prefer the second one as it really takes on a old world beat up look This certainly gives me some inspiration for my own map, did you have a program that makes the hex grid? I would interested in knowing how you gridded and numbered it!

Thank you, Jared. I used Draw Hex Grid 3.2., it is very simple to use.
