    Very cool indeed. I like the way the camera focuses on just one part of the depth in the second vid. Thats a real hologram there. Now just need to make that animated and were definitely there for the 3D TV.

    Cool as it it, it wouldn't make a very good map for minis as the parallax would make it akin to playing on a sheet of glass over top of a model. It would be very difficult to figure out what is directly underneath the mini. even if the point of no parallax is at ground level, you would have tall things drifting in underneath, and placing a mini on top of a tall thing like a building would likewise be impossible.
