Default Roads in the Eastern United States used around 1750 -1760

This is a bit outside the realm of discussions here perhaps, but I had a rather unusual request from a cousin of mine who is looking for good resource material for "roads in the Eastern United States used around 1750 -1760". Can anyone point me in the direction of books or sites that may be useful? Thanks for anything you can provide

Look in the Reference section, very first sticky link has a bunch of threads with links to various websites. The David Rumsey site might have some and there's also a nice collection at the University of Texas (not sure of their link). Plus you can always just do a Google search for old American maps and see what comes up.
