    Post Meets n greets

Hi all, new here... new to making my own maps, but I have decided to start because I am in the middle of writing my first fantasy novel and needed some maps to stop me losing my mind trying to remember all the locations.

Uploaded a sample of what I have done so far, just a small island/town map.

    Any comments are most welcome.

Very nice indeed, especially for a first go. To be honest, improving it in it's current state is just small things. From I can see maybe modify the labeling a bit, for instance "avelburh" in my mind doesn't convey clearly what it's labeling and is placed at an odd location. Also the title is proportionally too small. Again small adjustments to add more mood more lighting/shadow effects, smoke from chimneys etc etc. There's always the WIP section if you wanna have a go at a round of critique there.

    P.S. Repped!
    Cheers, Julien
