Default CC3 Export for VTT conversion for correct size

    Howdey,

I want to export my CC3 map so that I can import it in my VTT so that it is the right scale. My grid is Square and 10'. How do I convert it so that I get the correct size in my VTT for my export?

    Thanks.

Well...not knowing much of the VTT thing side of it. But if you know roughly what size this should translate to pixel wise, you can adjust the export (to png etc) through the TOOLS -> OPTIONS setting, select the BMP, JPG, PNG buton and then tell it the MAXIMUM IMAGE DIMENSIONS that the exported file should be.

Finally, then SAVE AS using the Rectangular BMP/PNG/JPG selection, and select only the part of the image that should be the image. This is the method I used when I was doing the maps for THUNDERSPIRE/PYRAMIDS/TROOLHAUNT etc.

Ok, I found a Michael Sweeney video on UTube that explains how to do this...

    Example:
    50 Pixles per 5'
How many feet across (Feet x 50 pixles)
    85 (4250 pixles) by 130 (6500 pixles)
    Save As
    Rectangular section JPEG
Options Width = 4250, Height (set to ungodly high 30000 is good)
    (BE SURE CROP IS ON)
    Image will crop height automatically

    Fairly simple.
