Default Interesting NY Map and article on map philosophy

Saw this (via this story on the BBC) and thought it might be of interest to the Guild. It's an article about an interesting New York map that's both first person and a satellite view. It's all a bit ring world, but the artist talks about the inspiration from old maps and computer games, and discusses how our growing visual literacy means that non-literal maps might be a better way of getting an idea of how a place works.

Interesting indeed. It is actually pretty close to what I'm trying to do in the Lite-challenge this month. Now I guess I have a theory to work with Thanks for the link.
