    Default Superbowl Commercials

For all you out of towners, the Super Bowl aired last night, and had some great commercials. My fav is below. When I get old, I want to be grumpy. It's my God given right!

    42 .. Wild .. Italians

Yep there were some good ones. The one I laughed the most had to be this one though:

    The Beaver was good too.

The Volkswgaen Vader commercial was a stunner. Short, sweet and very effective.

Max (Lil Vader) has a heart defect and has a pacemaker...poor guy. Saw a snippet from Today or something like that. That was my fav and I like the "product placement" Bud Light one too. The ones I'm sick of are the stupid-ass GoDaddy ads...very insulting to our intelligence (and to women).

OH yeah, the VW Beetle commercial...if that was a racing video game I would SOOOO buy that! I loved that one.

The Beaver commercial I was talking about was this one though for Bridgestone Tires. Gotta love animation.

When they had that clip in the film Demolition Man where Sandra Bullocks character skips over the TV content and waits for the next advert break to watch her fav ads I thought at the time it was quite funny and a bit of a **** take. That was supposed to be 2032 - were two decades ahead of our time...

So in the US do you get meerkats too. 138 items in the Amazon store for meerkat simples... including a book written about the adverts characters. Bah grump grump !!! (tis my god given right...)
