Default Sumo Paint - any comments?

    http://www.sumopaint.com/home/

A student of mine was showing me some of her art. She'd created some amazing work in Sumo Paint.

Have any of you used it? Can you provide comments as to how it compares to Photoshop / Gimp?

    It looks intriguing.

    Thanks!

Looking at the features it looks like something in between Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro - some professional stuff but also some kiddie stuff. Some of the filters look like fun to play with but I'm not sure how useful overall they would be. Price is about the same as Paint Shop so that's good. Definitely worth a look and I bet that once you master those filters that you could do some good stuff.

I'm not seeing any hard specs on it though...I want to see the formats it can import/export, and the max file size info etc.
