I wonder what Canus Majoris would look like. I mean, I'd be looking at the inside of it but that would be pretty cool.
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.

Dunno, but I found Jupiter terrifying enough!

nice post. the music fit the clip as well.
That was awesome. And yes Jupiter was massive....but what about the rest of the planets? I'm so depressed, I wanted to see Saturn and all that stuff. :O
Well, now that a lot of us have got that messiah 3D suite, we should do our own one!
yes wanted to see all of the planets too... to bad they hadn't done those... and I just had to go check the distance to the moon to see how close jupiter were.. its 384.000 km earth center to moon center - so we'd have a little air between us and jupiter, and HUGE tidal waves *lol*

Incredible. Thank you for the post!
If we were that close to Jupitor I think tidal waves would be the least of our problems, goodbye axis, goodbye climate, goodbye world. Nice link!
People come and people go. I walk amongst them, I see their faces; but none see mine. I pass them in the streets but nary a glance is spared my way, for what interest would they have in a Wanderer? Not of this world... Forever Alone... Forever Wandering... LoneWandererD...
RIP Angel "Ingy" Yates - The first inspiration that guided me towards art. You will be missed...
