Default JoeDaddy here, hello to all.

Well, I'm very much impressed by all the great work here! I have been inspired to learn GIMP and start making battlemap tiles. So after a week I finally got a couple tiles built. Mostly using textures and shadows. Boy is it fun!

Hopefully more in the future and thanks to all!

Hi there. Pretty good first attempt there. I can see you used some default GIMP textures, my suggestion is to expand your texture library and learn the functionality of layer modes and masking next. This should help you achieve much better results.
    Cheers, Julien
