    Map The Phoenix Spaceplane

This is my latest creation: a spaceplane with a heavily armored whipple shield on the dorsal surface. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks Ryan! Right now it's on sale for 10% off, and our entire product line is on sale for ten dollars! It's our Tenth-PDF-Anniversary over at Blue Max Studios, so were we're pretty excited. Glad you like it!

Do you do 3D meshes at all?

    Looks beautiful.

What's the scale and maximum range on this spacecraft?

@RK: I'm just now starting to get into the 3D side of design. Sometimes I will make a low-poly mesh as a design reference for complicated rockets, but I haven't reached a point where I like the results enough to show off. Give an other year or so.

@Omnigeek: First, love the handle! Second, it's 42 meters long and can make a run from LEO to Luna and back without refueling. Its main drive is a species of laser propulsion, which means that it can launch from Earth's surface into space without using propellant (it simply uses the lasers to heat the atmosphere trapped in the truster bells until it explodes). More details on that here.

Is this thing scramjet-powered, or does the dorsal surface just look like that anyway?
