    Map Alethea

This was my first attempt at creating a map using a tutorial. The tutorial I chose was Ascension's Atlas style, and I rather like the way the map came out. I stopped short of adding countries, because I didn't want to spend any more time on it, but it's still aesthetically pleasing, I think.

The edge of your continent has a lot of little pixels, that when stroked, create a fuzzy looking stroke. You can remove those little dots by using the filter Noise-Median...it smooths things out. Other than that, nice job.

Thank you all, and especially, thank you, Ascension, for your fantastic tutorial. I admit that it took three times through it get things to work right, but when they finally did, the result was wow! I finally figured out where I had been going wrong and suddenly everything came together. (Instead of applying the terrain gradient to the overlay, I was applying it to the layer, which didn't work).
