Wip Sikastra The Sister Land (A very small sister land)

Here was something I WAS experimenting with but scrapped it for something easier.

OH and here's one of the cities I WAS experimenting with but scrapped also can't find one that works with my scale.

Changed the name to Kitanora. (Can a mod change the name of the thread?)

The mountains in the first post look like a good start, but there "is" something missing... I think the dark lines are a bit to "regular" in shape... I also would not make the shadow side totally dark.. you want to block in color underneath the mountains and use the shadows to lighten/darken certain parts... likewise, even on the "light" side, vary your tones some to suggest areas that are fully in the sun vs those that get some sun....(ie, highlights/lowlights...) if you take a look at a number of Torstan's maps, you will see what I mean....

I think your on to something here though with that first set of mountains and would encourage you to keep trying to refine it...

I know something was missing.. I was just trying to follow the black and white color scheme I had before I put in color.
