Default How I make my Dungeon Maps

    Hi Folks,

Thought it was about time I gave something back to the community, here is a screenshot of my method and my document set-up..

Many thanks go to all of those who have previously posted tutorials here as most of this is simply a re-hash with my own methodology added.

Hopefully it is self explanatory. I assume a certain familiarity with Ps; i.e. how to use layers and layer masks, the marquee tools and so on. Let me know what you guys think.

The Guild is more than welcome, CP. I've learnt so much from its members and the forum is, dare I say, one of, if not, the most civilised one I've ever visited. I certainly hope someone does find it useful.

The main thing I like about this method, is it provides consistent results. And it's very flexible; changing the fill patterns or "objects", turning the parchment layer on-off, messing around with blend modes/layer effects once the structure is done can lead to all sorts of interesting results.
