    Default Formal Introductions.

    Hello, chaps.

My name is Almagester and I'm addicted to cartography. Inspired by Thror's map, I drew my first map near to ten years ago when I was in the seventh grade. Since that time I have hand-drawn many maps and guides for stories, D&D, and leisure. I have recently started to draw maps digitally, using the GIMP as my medium. For now, I feel, I am merely going to lurk these boards, but some time soon I will be posting in search of advice and criticism of my latest project.

I look forward to interacting with you all.

    -Almagester (P)

Well met Almagester! Welcome to the honorable Guild of Cartographers: you have certainly fallen in with kindred spirits here. There are a wealth of wonderful GIMP tutorials in the tutorials sections to help you on your way. Look forward to seeing more of you in the days to come.
