Default Lands of Domhan - World map

Hi, this is my first finished map.
Although I mixed some styles with not very good results, I hope to get better at my regional maps.
    Done in Photoshop CS5.

Nice effort! I'd make a small suggestion to lighted up on the texture a bit, that's all.

I love the shorelines - great shapes!

I'm liking the enclosed seas in the upper-right continent; they fit with the overall land-water balance of the map, and the lack of ice-caps, to give an idea of a world at a time when sea-level is high and the climate warm.

I really like this, but I agree with Rob in that it could stand to have the canvas texture lightened a bit. Also, the seashell cartouche things in the upper corners look good, but what about adding them to the bottom corners too, but reversed, to balance things?

    Repped, looks pretty nice!

Being this my first submitted "finished map", I guess it's ok to make this little changes, without it being considered a WIP... right?
